Off to ICANN!
Heading down to Brazil for my umpteenth ICANN meeting. I’ve been asked to moderate a panel on the registrar phenomenon called ‘domain tasting’ on 12/6/06.
DomainFest LA 9/20-22/06
Looks like I’ll get to speak at the upcoming DomainFest LA. Here is the posted Schedule.
I’ll get to be on a panel with Bret Fausset and John Berryhill, so this should be a really good experience.
Roger Collins of Afternic and many, many other amazing people will also be there.
DomainerDinner Toronto
Ran into William H. Macy at the airport. He was completely down to earth and friendly, and obliged a mobile phone camera pic.
Frank Mitchlick of DomainEditorial invited some of the most amazing people in Ontario (who are large domainers) to dinner.
I had a chance to meet up with Mark Jeftovic ,
James Woods , and Ross Rader
while in Toronto for the event, and saw a lot of familiar industry faces while there for the dinner.

DomainFest Barcelona
DomainFest has been a series of small, regional events that domain owners start to put together, and then contact DomainSponsor to put their support behind.
This was a well attended event, with 45 people in attendance. 17 Languages, millions of dollars in domain names, and some of the most brillaint and wonderful “domainers” in all of Europe came to participate.
Marrakech . . . On the Road to Morocco…
Morocco ICANN meeting in Marrakech was a great experience, the weather was warm, plus I brought my better half and her sister along for the conference, and it was good to have all of my industry friends meet my great Melissa.
I had the opportunity to moderate a panel discussion on the Domain Name Marketplace Workshop, which I thought was very visionary on behalf of ICANN to have as part of their schedule.
